Auction Terms & Conditions - ***Please read descriptions on each lot for more info whether an item runs / doesn't run, doesn't have an ownership. etc..*** Online Only Auction - Bidding will start to close Monday September 30th at 6:00 p.m. (soft close in effect) FEES: 17% Buyers Premium plus HST, plus $0.85 handling fee is applied for each item. All items have a 17% Buyers Premium PAYMENT: All items must be paid for by 12 pm the day following the auction. If you are the successful bidder we will assume you are paying by credit card and we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the total invoice. We run credit cards the morning after each auction and you will be emailed a copy of your receipt by 10 am that day. If you want to pay by e-transfer or direct deposit you MUST write this in the "notes to auctioneer" prior to registering for each auction. If we have not received the alternate form of payment by 12 pm the day following the auction we will charge the credit card on file. E-transfers are to be sent to darren@mckenzieauction.com. We have auto deposit. Once the e-transfer is received we will send you a paid receipt. BIDDERS ARE REPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THEIR PURCHASES AND MAKING PAYMENT THE DAY AFTER THE AUCTION. Your credit card will not be charged unless you win. All items must be paid for by 12 p.m. the next day after an auction. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Please note that outbid notifications are NOT sent out during the last two hours of the sale. PICKUPS & REMOVALS: The purchaser can pick up their items with a paid receipt. Items can not be picked up until the invoice is paid. All items must be removed by the specified removal time. Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. We do not ship. Do not bid if you are unable to have your items picked up. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item. All bidders/buyers must be of legal age. AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults.
