TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS AUCTION, BUYERS AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SPECIFIED HERE WITHIN. Subject to change without notice.
Registration:
- At the time of registration, information is collected, such as identification and credit card verification to confirm who you are prior to bidding.
- All bidders must be of legal age to bid.
- Any bidders with a negative score will not be allowed to bid without a $200 deposit. This deposit will be returned to you if you do not win any lots. If you win lots then the deposit will be used against any invoices. Any left over will be returned to you.
Bidding:
- During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime.
- No bid can be withdrawn after being placed for any reason.
- All items are sold as is.
- All bids are legally binding and enforceable in Canada.
- You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. Please note that outbid notifications may not be sent out during the last two hours of the sale.
- All winning bidders will receive an e-mail invoice within 24 hours of the auction closing. Please check your junkmail.
Payment:
- There is no cost to register for an auction.
- All invoices must be paid prior to pick up or during pick up.
- Payment methods are as follows: Credit card, Debit, Cash, and EMT
- All purchases are in Canadian dollars (CAD$)
- If the invoice is not paid within 10 business days of the date of the closing Auction Haeus reserves the right to send any outstanding amounts plus processing fee/admin fees to a third party collection agency.
Location and Pickup:
- Auctions are only available online and all purchases are subject to the applicable tax.
- AuctionHaeus & Liquidation Centre pickup facility is in Windsor, ON.

- You will be emailed pick up instructions if you have successfully won a bid.
- Pickup must be within 5 days of the auction closing date. Any invoices not picked up within the timeframe may be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. AuctionHaeus and Liquidation Centre reserves the right to retain any items that are associated to invoices which have not been paid within the 5 business days. In the event that we cancel an invoices you will be charged a 16.5% cancellation fee, with a minimum $5. Any invoices and/or fees that are overdue by at least 10 business days may be sent to a third party collection service.
Shipping:
If you require shipping, please let us know in the registration notes. You will receive further instructions when you receive your invoice.
Return and Exchange Policy:
AuctionHaeus sells all items "As-is", meaning the item you purchase is sold in its current state. We ONLY accept returns if the item does not work as described and if an exchange is unavailable. Items that have declared imperfections, missing parts, problems etc. are sold as-is with no return or exchange options whatsoever. Any return/exchange must be authorized by management and product must be brought back or shipped back to our Windsor, ON warehouse at the buyer's cost within 3 business days from authorization. Please let us know if you have problems with any items within 2 days from pick up date. Any authorized returns are given back in the form of store credit. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All items specifically listed as "Salvage" and/or "AS-IS" condition can not be returned for a credit or return for any reason. Refunds and credits are at the sole discretion of the auctioneer. The auctioneer reserves the right to adjust the date of closing and/or adjust the final sale of any given auction or lot.
All advertised memberships/promotions/exclusives/warranties etc. may not be intact nor honoured by the manufacturer/distributor. Lack of the forementioned is not a valid reason for return.
Risks, Additions and Exclusions:
- We will not be liable for damage or injury to individuals or their property.
- We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point during the auction.
- Winning Bidders who do not pay for and pickup their lots within 10 business days can potentially receive a negative score to their hibid accounts and be banned from bidding with AuctionHaeus auctions.
Definitions:
BUYERS: The BUYER expressly agrees to indemnify and save AuctionHaeus & Liquidation Centre., the Seller and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including the negligent acts or omissions of AuctionHaeus & Liquidation Centre, or anyone acting in his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of auction. All bidders/buyers must be of legal age.
Reserve: Seldom are items sold with Reserve. If an item is being sold with a reserve, it will be clearly marked and identified. For items sold with a 'reserve', you will be required to pay a minimum amount in order to win the item.
Auction Records: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records.
Soft Close: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 4 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased.
Strategy: Bidding is similar to Ebay type auctions, we recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment.
Catalogue Errors & Omissions: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. In the event an item was listed in error or an item can't be located during pick up for any reason, the bidder agrees that their maximum recourse is a full refund of the item in question and that all other items bid on remain binding.
Limitation of Liability: You expressly understand and agree that AuctionHaeus & Liquidation Centre shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the buyer has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any other matter relating to the service.
