Provenance: From the private estate of a long time art collector. According to the consignor this fine painting has not undergone an expert authentication certification process, hence is being sold as manner of the artist.
Ben Shahn was an American artist. He is best known for his works of social realism, his left-wing political views, and his series of lectures published as The Shape of Content.
