We base this attribution on the same medium, style, subject, complexity, and signature as used by Miro. Medium: Oil and gouache on heavy paper. Condition: Very good overall appearance with some spotting in the paper on the verso. Edition: Unique original work of art. Signature: Lower right. Size: 8 x 6.25 in. Provenance: From the private estate of a long time art collector. According to the consignor this fine painting has not undergone an expert authentication certification process,
hence is being sold as manner of the artist.
Joan Miró i Ferrà was a Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramicist born in Barcelona. A museum dedicated to his work, the Fundació Joan Miró, was established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975, and another, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, was established in his adoptive city of Palma de Mallorca in 1981.
