The convention will be at the Homewood Suites, 1650 Pullman Lane, Hagertown, MD. For rooms, call 301-665-3816 and mention the Mid Atlantic Carnival Glass Club in order to get the special room rate of $139 plus tax.
We will be auctioning Contemporary Glass on Thursday evening & Carnival Glass on Saturday Morning.

Terms and Conditions
CONDITION OF ITEMS Sheffield Auctions makes every effort to accurately describe all items offered in its sales. All damages seen at time of listing will be identified. Common nicks, scratches, Manufacturing issues, pinheads and wear may not be called. If an item is found to be different than listed, it will be announced and no absentee bids will be entered on item. HOWEVER, all items for sale are "as is," and it is the bidder's responsibility (present or absentee bidders) to determine the exact condition of each item. Sheffield Auctions will not be held responsible for typographical errors.
ABSENTEE BIDS If you DO NOT have internet access or access to our website, you can: Call us by phone to enter your bids at (606) 306-1792 OR send the number(s) of the item(s) desired, the name of the auction and the amount bid on each item to: Sheffield Auctions, 904 Snow School Rd, Albany, KY 42602. All written and called in bids will be entered into the online catalog by us.
Bidders may preview, register and place bids into the online catalog through HiBid.com. When you get to the online catalog, you will need to login as a bidder. For the first time you will need to set up your account by creating a username and password. This will include filling out a form with your name, address, etc. This will only happen once and you will now be able to enter bids through any of our online catalogs by just logging in with your user name and password. You are not required to pay by credit card if you are the successbidder. We will let you know what you owe us through an email and you can decide how you would like to pay us. Credit card payments have a processing fee of 4% of the total invoice. Checks will be subject to a $30.00 return charge.
There is a $7 fee per successful lot plus shipping and insurance. An exciting advantage of entering your bids online yourself, is the option to be notified by email if you are outbid on an item. You will know when you are outbid on an item and you can increase your bid on that item or bid on something else.
All bids must be left in increments as explained below. If a left bid is "out of increment," the auctioneer has the right to round the bid up to the next correct increment. If there is a tie bid between any bidding venues, the floor bid takes precedence.
BID LIVE VIA TELEPHONE This service is available on lots with an estimated sale price of $500 or more. Requests for phone lines must be received at least three (3) days prior to the auction date. Sheffield Auctions cannot guarantee phone lines but will make every attempt to accommodate those who wish to participate through that method. Phone lines are provided on a first come first served basis. PAYMENT All merchandise must be paid in full within two (2) weeks of the date of receiving the invoice. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, personal checks/ certified checks, money orders and cash.
Credit card payments have a processing fee of 4% of the total invoice. Checks will be subject to a $30.00 return charge.
There is a $7 fee per successful lot plus shipping and insurance.
Make checks payable to: Sheffield Auctions. Sheffield Auctions reserves the right to hold items paid for by personal check until said check clears. Call (606) 688-1410 to pay your invoice by phone. Note: There will be a $30.00 service charge for returned checks. If payment for purchased item(s) are not received within two (2) weeks of receipt date, the items willl be returned to the consignor. SHIPPING Packaging, shipping of, and insurance on items will be available to successful bidders. There will be a $7 packing and handling fee per successful lot. If you are picking up your item, the fee will be waived. Shipping costs will be billed with purchases. We ship items via US Post Office Ground Advantage. POST SALE RETURN POLICY Every effort is made to ensure descriptions are accurate and that they fully disclose any exceptions to condition. Buyers who wish to report a problem with a purchase they have made must notify Sheffield Auctions within three (3) days of receipt of their purchased item. If a return is authorized by Scott Sheffield of Sheffield Auctions, the item in question must be shipped, with full insurance, so it arrives at Sheffield Auctions within one week of the aforementioned authorization. With respect to all returns, it is the buyer's responsibility to cover the cost of the shipment and insurance, regardless of the reason for the return. Sheffield Auctions will NOT reimburse shipping costs to buyers who return auction goods.
RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES Sheffield Auctions may refuse a buyer's number to anyone for any reason. Bidder agrees to provide any identification Sheffield Auctions may request including, but not limited to: drivers license, photocopies of credit cards, Social Security card or US Passport. Bidder agrees to comply with any stated additional terms or conditions associated with particular items. Sheffield Auctions is providing Internet pre-auction bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly before the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Sheffield Auctions or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before the auction. Sheffield Auctions will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the Auctionflex email feature. Sheffield Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction. The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. If there is a tie bid between the floor and absentee bid, the floor takes bid precedence. Sheffield Auctions reserves the right to remove those attendees who impede the previews and/or the auction. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the "fall of the auctioneer's hammer" or the item is called "sold". The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed.
CREDIT CARD FEE - LOT FEE A 4% credit card fee will be added to all successful bids and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase cost. A 4% discount is applied to payments made with cash, check or money order.
