Provenance: From the private estate of a long time art collector. According to the consignor this fine painting has not undergone an expert authentication certification process, hence is being sold as manner of the artist.
Kazimir Severinovich Malevich was a Russian avant-garde artist and art theorist, whose pioneering work and writing influenced the development of abstract art in the 20th century. He was born in Kiev, modern-day Ukraine, to an ethnic Polish family.

Died: May 15, 1935 (age 56 years), Saint Petersburg, Russia.
