Provenance: From the private estate of a long time art collector. According to the consignor this fine charcoal has not undergone an expert authentication certification process,
hence is being sold as manner of the artist.
Lucian Michael Freud OM CH was a British painter and draughtsman, specialising in figurative art, and is known as one of the foremost 20th-century English portraitists. He was born in Berlin, the son of Jewish architect Ernst L. Freud and the grandson of Sigmund Freud.
