Lot # : 208 - All 4 Beatles Hair Strand Collection, COA

This Limited edition Beatles Collection display containing a single half-inch strand of hair from John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, is numbered 232 of 250. The hair was originally sold at Sotheby's on June 9, 1982, and was obtained by Datebook writer Marilyn Dorflier. Each strand is presented inside a 5 x 3 inch plexiglass holder with a certificate of authenticity and a color image of the band In fine condition. Mr. Joel Buckner purchased the lot which included some of the hair from Sotheby's in 1982. He later became friends with Marilyn and purchased many great items from her over the years. He is the one that put together each set in this limited edition of 250. The highest price we know that one of these has sold for is $4,800.00 at a rock & roll auction years ago. This item comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Mr. Joel Buckner.
