This is an original drawing of in the manner of Mexican artist Frida Khalo, hand signed. This is an original self portrait of the artist with her hair down, one of Khalo's favorite subjects. A lovely portrait of the iconic Mexican artist who is know for her many portraits and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico. Inspired by her country's popular culture, she employed a naïve folk art style to explore questions of identity, postcolonialism, gender, class and race in Mexican society.
