Auction Terms & Conditions
1. AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO YOU AT THE EMAIL ADDRESS USED DURING REGISTRATION. FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED WITHIN 24 HOURS. WE WILL NOT CONTACT YOU TO MAKE PAYMENTS OR SEND ADDITIONAL REMINDERS. IF PAYMENT ISN'T RECEIVED THE ITEMS YOU HAVE BID ON WILL BE PLACED ON THE NEXT AUCTION AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN FUTURE AUCTIONS WITH US.
2. A 15% BUYER'S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO ALL PURCHASES
3. NO WARRANTY. THE DESCRIPTIONS OF ITEMS APPEARING IN A CATALOG OR ADVERTISING PRIOR TO THIS SALE ARE BELIEVED TO BE CORRECT. HOWEVER, NEITHER THOSE DESCRIPTIONS NOR ANY ORAL STATEMENT MADE BY THE OWNER OR EMPLOYEE CONCERNING ANY ITEM SHALL BE CONSTRUED AS A WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS." SELLER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR ITEMS AFTER THEY HAVE LEFT THE WAREHOUSE.
4. REMOVAL DATE. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF THEIR OWN ITEMS. BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISK OF LOSS AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY UNTIL REMOVED FROM THE SALES PREMISES. BUYER AND AUCTION COMPANY AGREE THAT MERCHANDISE MAY REMAIN ON THE SALES PREMISES FOR A PERIOD OF TIME FOLLOWING THE SALE AT THE RISK OF THE BUYER. THE DATE BY WHICH ALL MERCHANDISE MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES WILL BE ANNOUNCED. BIDDER AGREES TO PAY ANY STORAGE CHARGES ASSESSED ON ANY ITEM OR ITEMS NOT REMOVED BY BIDDER BY THE REMOVAL DEADLINE, OR FORFEIT MERCHANDISE ENTIRELY, IF PREMISES ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER DESIGNATED REMOVAL PERIOD.
5. RECEIPT. A BUYER WILL BE FURNISHED A RECEIPT AT THE TIME OF PICKUP. THIS RECEIPT MUST BE AUTHENTICATED BY THE CHECKOUT PERSON BEFORE BUYER WILL BE PERMITTED TO REMOVE PURCHASES FROM THE SALES PREMISES.
6. RESALE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RESELL ANY PROPERTY NOT PAID FOR IN FULL OR REMOVED BY DATE LISTED. WE ARE NOT A STORAGE FACILITY.
7. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REOPEN AND/OR CANCEL ANY BID IN THE CASE OF SYSTEM FAILURE.
8. THE LAST BID AT AN AUCTION IS AN ORAL CONTRACT AND IS LEGALLY BINDING. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BUYER AGREES, UPON REGISTRATION, TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SALE.
9. BIDDER INSPECTION IS ENCOURAGED. BY PLACING A BID, THE BIDDER SIGNIFIES THAT THEY HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEMS TO THEIR SATISFACTION OR HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO PERSONALLY INSPECT/EXAMINE THE ITEMS.
10. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY BID AT OUR DISCRETION.
11. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL & PICKED UP DURING THE DESIGNATED PICK-UP DATE & TIME. ANY ITEMS THAT ARE NOT PICKED UP AT THE CLOSE OF THE PICK-UP DATE & TIME WILL BE DEEMED FORFEITED TO INDY BARGAIN HUNTERS. NON-PAYING & NO-SHOW BIDDERS ACCOUNTS WILL BE BANNED FROM REGISTERING WITH US AGAIN ON HIBID.
12. BEYOND THE THRIFT ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR YOUR PURCHASES. THE BUYER ASSUMES LIABILITY AND AGREES TO HOLD INDY BARGAIN HUNTERS HARMLESS FROM ANY FUTURE CLAIMS THAT PERTAINS TO ITEMS PURCHASED.
13. BEYOND THE THRIFT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CORRECT DESCRIPTION, AUTHENTICITY, OR DEFECTS IN ANY LOT/ITEM AND MAKES NO WARRANTY/GUARANTEES. ALL ITEMS ARE BEING SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES. ALWAYS REFER TO PHOTOS FOR CONDITION & INCLUSIONS/EXLUSIONS. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK BEFORE COMMITTING TO A BID.
14. WE DO NOT OFFER SHIPPING - OUT OF STATE BIDDERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER.
15. ITEMS IN BOXES ARE SOLD AS IS - WE ARE UNABLE TO OPEN ALL BOXES & ASSEMBLE ITEMS TO VERIFY ALL PARTS, ASSESS FOR DAMAGE, ETC. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THESE ITEMS IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO TAKE THE RISK OF AN ITEM BEING DAMAGED/MISSING PIECES/ETC. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON THESE ITEMS - BID ACCORDINGLY.
16. REGISTERING AND PLACING/WINNING A BID(S) WILL COUNT AS YOUR ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE OF AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS. NO REFUNDS, NO DISPUTES, NO CHARGEBACKS WILL BE ALLOWED. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS AND DESCRIBED AS SUCH.
17. TO COMBAT A POSSIBILITY OF NON PAYING BIDDERS, NEW BIDDERS MAY BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IN ORDER TO BE APPROVED TO BID. THIS APPROVAL MAY REQUIRE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: PHONE CALL TO VERIFY INFO, COPY OF DRIVERS LICENSE, EMAIL VERIFICATION, ETC. WE RECOMMEND REGISTERING & PLACING YOUR FIRST BID EARLY TO ENSURE YOU ARE APPROVED IN TIME TO BID BEFORE THE AUCTION CLOSES. ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL NOW BE MANUALLY APPROVED BY AUCTION COMPANY (INCLUDING FIRST BID). YOU MUST RESPOND TO THE REGISTRATION EMAIL TO BE APPROVED TO BID. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR MISSED BIDS. YOU MAY ALSO BE REQUIRED, AT REGISTRATION, TO HAVE A VALID DEBIT/CREDIT CARD ON FILE FOR PAYMENT.
