Description
General Goods Catalog 9/23 - 9/27
**HANDLING COSTS:** 1) Local pickup with CASH drops the buyer's premium from 13%** to 8%. 2) Handling for both Local Pickup and Shipping: $5 plus $3 per additional lot Note from the Owner - We operate as an exclusively online auction platform with a strong emphasis on shipping, and our handling costs are aligned with this focus. Our local handling costs are intentionally higher compared to shipped orders. This decision is a strategic one. Local pickups demand just as many and, in many cases, more resources than shipping orders. Our company's primary focus currently lies in efficiently fulfilling shipped orders. This adjustment will primarily impact lots with lower starting bids. We kindly request that you factor this into your bidding decisions. **13% buyer's premium only applies when we send you the invoice, and you pay for it from your side. If we have to charge your HiBid card on file, whether local pickup or shipped, the buyer's premium will increase to 20% + $.50. We are avoiding charging HiBid cards as much as possible due to increasing costs and are instead are just sending invoices through our website instead as the best alternative. **SHIPPING: ** 1) We apply the most economical retail rate, choosing between UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail, which also encompasses all expenses related to materials, shipping labels, and insurance. 2) Additional charges may apply for custom boxes, specialty packaging, or extra boxes required to safeguard delicate items. These fees are assessed on an individual basis. For instance, if you purchase both a 15lb bowling ball and a fragile glass vase in the same order, the handling costs will be higher than if you had purchased either the bowling ball or the vase separately. Consign Online LLC reserves the right to refuse shipping for any item won, even if the listing initially indicates that shipping is available. In cases where it is our error, a refund will be issued to the buyer without any associated penalties. However, lack of awareness regarding shipping costs or logistics does not warrant a refund. 3) Return shipping will be handled on a case-by-case basis. ** BIDDING: ** 1) All submitted bids are final and irrevocable. 2) Consign Online LLC reserves the right to refuse bids from any individual. 3) All items are sold "As is, where is." It is the responsibility of bidders to have a clear understanding of their purchases. While we strive to provide as much pertinent information as possible, we do not possess expertise in specific items. Therefore, our listings may not be exhaustive. Should bidders require more information prior to bidding, we encourage them to inquire before the auction's conclusion. In instances where discrepancies or inaccuracies exist within the description, title, or photos, we address these issues on a case-by-case basis. Unless explicitly stated as "confirmed genuine" or "confirmed faux," no products will have been definitively authenticated, leaving the determination to the bidder's discretion, comfort level, and risk tolerance. This applies to various items, including but not limited to jewelry, gemstones, precious metals, fossils, leather products, brand-name items, and more. These items are sold "As is, where is," and refunds will not be issued if a bidder believes an item to be counterfeit. If you have concerns about the authenticity of an item, kindly inform us of the specific aspects we can investigate to confirm its legitimacy. It's worth noting that our catalogs are periodically recurring, so there's no need to feel like you're missing out if an auction concludes without a definitive answer. Lots are continuously relisted until they find a buyer. We urge bidders to bid judiciously and reach out to us for clarification before placing their bids. Once a bid is placed, the sale is final, and refunds will not be granted due to insufficient information. It is important not to make assumptions and hope for a favorable outcome. 4) In a single auction, we oversee hundreds of lots, and across multiple auctions, we handle thousands of lots. While we diligently strive to maintain synchronization, there are occasions when some lots may inadvertently remain available for auction when they shouldn't. Typically, we identify such discrepancies after the auction has concluded, during the order processing phase. If we discover such a situation, we will promptly issue a full refund for the entire amount paid for that particular lot. 5) 13% Buyer's Premium added to total order. 6) For any catalog with a "Lot Buyout" section: we will be placing our own absentee bids to buy these lots from the consignors. These absentee bids are handled like any other absentee bid. These absentee bids will be submitted before the end of the auction and applied to the lots after the end of the online portion of the auction automatically, but the bid amounts will not be reflected through HiBid. Highest max bid wins these selected lots, so if you see the lot again in a future catalog in the "older lots" section, it is because our max bid beat your max bid and we bought the lot from the consignor. ** PAYMENT AND PICKUP: ** 1) All cards on file are run after the auction ends. 2) Any cards on file that are declined, the buyer will be notified via email that their card was not successfully run. They will then have until 4 PM the following day to give us a call and let us know their payment plan. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting your winnings to the next highest bidder. 3) Friday and Saturday are the only days for pickups, and one must schedule an appointment. Winning bidders are given two Fridays after an auction concludes to schedule an appointment and pick up their winnings before storage fees start getting charged. If a given Friday is not avaliable for a pickup due to conflicting schedules, you will be awarded another Friday to pick up. If an appointment is not scheduled, I cannot guarentee I will be at the shop. 4) All items must be picked up within 21 days after the end of the auction. You must let me know within 7 days if you will be picking up. If I do not hear from you, I will assume you want it shipped and I will charge your card on file. 5) Buyer specifically waves the right to dispute or deny payment for any and all purchases made with a credit card. 6) Resellers must submit an ST-101 before the conclusion of the auction. Failure to do so will result in sales tax being charged. This form can be found at: http://tax.idaho.gov/forms/EFO00149_09-30-2015.pdf 7) We ship all winnings if they are not within approximately 45-60 minutes of our location. If you are from out of the area, and are making a trip to pick up from multiple auctions, please let us know in the "Notes to auctioneer" when you register to bid. Just say "From out of the area, please do not ship my winnings. I will pick up in person". ** RETURNS: ** 1) All items have 14 day returns for local bidders. That 14 day period starts at the end of the auction, not at the point of pickup. Returns are only for items that are not as described or that are broken/damaged. We do not issue out refunds for buyer's remorse or as a means of cancelling winning bids. Any items picked up 14 days after the end of the auction are not eligible for a return and therefore, sold "as is, where is". 2) Items must be picked up or shipped in order to qualify for a return. Returns cannot be used as a means of cancelling winning bids. 3) Items must be returned in the same condition as the photos. Partial refunds will be issued if an item is not returned in the same condition as the photos. 4) Any items returned 14 days after the auction ends are not eligible for a refund. For shipped winnings, it is 14 days after the delivery date. 5) Any damages items must have completed a completed claim with the shipping carrier before any monies are able to be refunded. This will usually require participation from both the shipper and the recipient. Failure of the recipient to cooperate with shipping insurance claims will not result in a refund. Recipient agrees to cooperate with the shipper to provide any needed information or tasks required by the shipping carrier for a successful claim to be completed. This can include any photos, forms, and/or possibly go to the nearest shipping depot for an item inspection if requested by the shipping carrier to receive a decision, either a financial payout or decline of payout. Once a decision is made and all the proper steps were taken to ensure the highest likelihood of a successful claim, a refund will be issued in full, regardless of decision from the carrier.
