Cosigner said he bought a collection back in the 80s or 90s and this was mixed in. I’ve spent about 30 minutes figuring it out. Various Google searches lead to nowhere. The image is printed on paper and placed on a really thick piece of cardboard. Cardboard shows age. Card is roughly 2.75 x 3 inches. Edges show wear. There’s a crease to the left of his head about 0.75 inches long. Another crease on his right sleeve. Multiple dents dings on the right side of the card. Back is completely blank. Cosigner and I came to an agreement that it might be cut off a box that paid Ruth for his image. Definitely shows age but what it is from I have no idea.

Robinson; The consigner said he personally got the card signed by Brooks back in the 80s or 90s. Maybe at Sneaks and Cleats in Trexlertown or some other cars show locally. Has the typical Brooks slant which he did on cards. You can see the flow of the signature, crossing of the letters, feathering of the signature. Some in a blue sharpie or marker. Card is off centered. Upper left corner has a bend in the very tip of the card. Left edge by the bat knob there is some light damage. Bottom left corner is slightly rounded at the very tip. Right corners come to a point. Surface looks good. No gum stain on the back. Slight printing blemish above the word base on the front. Sadly no COA.

Upper right has two line creases the edge running parallel to each other for about a 1/4 of an inch. Plus the corner is bent. Printing flaw in the a of Yankees. Other corners show wear. Slight off centered. Surface is nice no gum residue. Bottom of the back is lighter than the top of the back.

Slightly off centered. Interesting if you hold the card directly in front of you looks good. Hold it where the light reflects of the surface and the card is faintly scratched. Maybe one of the rollers was aged cracked and left a light impression on the card. Corners show some light wear. No creases. Color is nice and bright. Back is off centered.

Willie Mays checklist has 214 as Tom Kelley. 6th checklist Marichal is missing his left ear.

Cards are from 2 to 533. It was a partial set I broke up with the previous lots. Overall very clean cards. HOFers, stars, checklists and error/corrected cards were pulled.
