VOLUMES, SET OF TWO, Rudolph Ackermann, "The Repository of Arts, Literature, Commerce, Manufacturers, Fashions and Politics", no publishing date given, printed by Harrison & Rutter, Strand, London, being Volume II, containing "For July, 1809 / The Seventh Number", through "For December, 1809 / The Twelfth Number", and Volume III, containing "For January, 1810 / The Thirteenth Number", through "For June, 1810 / The Eighteenth Number", marbled endpapers/pastedowns, numerous plates, including many hand-colored examples, Volume III with engraved title page, each with marbled boards, red leather corners and spine, spines with gilt lettering and decoration.
<i>Fair to good condition overall, each with moderate to significant wear and expected discoloration to boards/spines, and corners significantly bumped, Volume II with significant losses and wear to boards, Volume III with fraying to bumped corners, interiors remarkably clean, very legible, with expected toning, particularly to plates, some scattered minimal staining or foxing, Volume II lacking front endpapers and title page, with some related losses to front pastedown, each with beginnings of separation at interior joints.</i>
