Auction Terms & Conditions:
This is an online only auction. By placing a bid in this auction, the bidder indicates they accept the terms and conditions of this auction. All items Sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults disclosed or not, with no guarantees or warranties. Description of items are at the opinion of the company with no guarantess expressed or implied. By placing a bid, bidder indicates they accept the pictures and descriptions as given, or have inspected the item to their and your satisfaction. Visual inspection of items is offered and highly encouraged prior to placing a bid. We highly recommend previewing items if allowed to determine value and your bid. No backpacks, large bags, etc will be allowed during the preview. We reserve the right to limit the number of people previewing at our decreation.
All descriptions are believed to be accurate but not warranted. Measurements are approximate. The listed item(s) condition is not an official grading of the item(s) condition but only an opinion. There maybe defects not noted or fully visible in the photographs, when you are uncertain of the condition or wear of an item, please bid accordingly. We attempt to note damage in writing or photos of defects but not cannot guarantee condition of any item. By placing a bid its your agreement to purchase the item AS IS WHERE IS in the condition it is in and may not return the item for any reason. By signing the invoice that you have received all your items at pickup is also an acceptance of the items condtion at the time of pickup.
Lots will close approximately every 10 seconds. Timed auctions use a soft close, which provides an authentic auction atmosphere. Online timed auction with the highest bid online when the bidding closes will be the winning bid for the item. The online auction will have a soft close with any bid in the last two minutes before the closing of the item will extend the bidding time by an additional one minute. This prevents individuals from placing a bind on an item in the last seconds in order to prevent others from advancing the bid.
The assets are sold only one time with non-retractable bids. When you bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract. If your bid is the winning bid on any item, not matter the price it is your responsabilty to pay for the item at the time of pickup or by other arrangement prior to pickup. All property is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS", and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All Items are considered used condition which may contain nicks, dings, scratches or damage. You are responsible for determing condition prior to bidding.
J & J Ventures, LLC and our client(s) reserve the right to reject any bid and/or bidder at our sole discretion and/or remove one or more lots from auction prior to the scheduled closing time. J & J Ventures, LLC shall be held harmless for any malifunction of software, internet outages, etc used by their company during this auction. It is your responsabilty to have good internet service at the location you choose to participate in the final closing of the auction lots.
You will be required to pay at the time of pickup with credit/debit card or Venmo. NO CHECKS.
All winning bids are subject to 12% Buyers Premium. 3.75% Credit/Debit Card Fee. Iowa Sales Tax 7% unless tax exempt. Please email form and bring a copy of your form so that we can retain on file per State Law.
Buyer Premiums are applied towards the expenses for running this online auction, setup, cleanup, labor and advertisement.
You must bring your own tools, help, equipment to load and secure your items. No help will be provided by the company to load or secure your purchases. Help will be provided to get your lots to you at a location determined at each onsite location. First come is who we will first serve. We will help customers in the order they arrive. Please be prepared to wait your turn. Please do not help yourself to lots to limit the confusion or chance of error during pickup.
Reasonable handling charges will be added to your invoice per lot for those who choose shipping and payable with auction invoice. Invoice must be paid prior to releasing items to shipper. Shipping and packing fees to be paid directly to shipper. All shipping is handled by Debra at Home Run Delivery 402-507-8950.
The shipper will contact you for shipping payment. No items will be shipped until payment in full to the shipper is made.
Declined credit/debit cards will be accessed a 35.00 fee. Credit card charge backs are not allowed and by accepting the terms of this action you agree to not conduct a charge back of charged fees.
ANY ITEMS NOT PICKED UP DURING THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP TIME(S) WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FINAL PICK UP TIME HAS EXPIRED. ITEMS BECOME PROPERTY OF THE AUCTION COMPANY AND MAYBE RESOLD OR DESTORYED. REASONALBE DISPOSAL/TRANSPORTATION FEES MAYBE CHARGED TO THE BIDDER UNDER THE BINDING CONTRACT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS.
YOU MAY NOT PICK AND CHOOSE FROM THE LOT, THE WHOLE LOT MUST BE REMOVED. IF THE WHOLE LOT IS NOT REMOVED A FEE OF $25.00 TO $50.00 WILL BE CHARGED.
If the above time does not work for you, please email and we'll try to accommodate you. No guarantees as each clients space or time frame maynot allow different terms than listed. Storage fees may apply with a minimum of $5.00 per day to $40.00 per day depends on size, space and number of items.
By checking the I agree to terms of this auction box and then bidding in this auction, is you taking two or more actions as acceptance and agreement to all of the terms posted for this auction as a binding contract.
Failure to comply with these terms will prohibit bidder from participating in future auctions conducted by J & J
Ventures, LLC and maybe banned from Hibid aucitons per the terms of Hibid.
Not Responsable for Accidents, by entering property for preview or to pickup items. You and your party agree to hold harmless J & J Ventures, LLC, the owners, agents and/or thier hiers of the noted property. By entering property you agree to be audio and video recorded at the sole discreation of J & J Ventures, LLC, its agents, the owners and/or agents of the owner.
Bidders, who bid 'off site' and are not present at the online auction or preview, understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. The bidder is responsible for the determination of age, rarity, physical condition, value, genuineness, or any other physical characteristics and condition. J & J Ventures LLC shall attempt to describe in detail each item and any important information regarding that item. Bidders understand and agree they are bidding over the internet and technical issues may occur that J & J Ventures LLC has no control over and is not responsible if your bid fails to be recorded, this is especially important near closing times due to high volume. J & J Ventures LLC strongly suggests you take advantage of our max bid feature so you are covered in the most efficient way possible. J & J Ventures LLC will not be responsible for any omissions, errors, or misprinting the description of any merchandise or auction items. Bidder agrees that everything is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS", and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Please remember you may need to refresh your screen to find out if you have been outbid. To refresh your screen, you need to click on refresh for the whole page to refresh or use the refresh button on your browser. This is most pertinent at the end of the auction.
This auction features extended bidding. Any lot that receives a bid within 1 minutes of its scheduled closing time will remain open for bids past its normal close and will then enter into extended bidding. The lot will remain open until there are no bids received on that lot in the 1 minutes of any extended bidding. This only affects lots with the last couple minute bids; other lots will continue to close at their normal times. When a max bid is placed, the current bid price does not automatically go to your max bid. Another bidder has to bid to increase the current price and the computer will automatically inject your bid in the next increment, continually after being outbid, until it reaches your maximum bid amount.
J & J Ventures LLC reserves the right to pause, stop, restart or extend any auction due to technological issues that may occur during the course of the duration of the auction. No discounts or refunds will be given if this occurs. J & J Ventures or its agents reserves the right to bid on item(s) with the intent to purchase just like anyone else may bid. J & J Ventures LLC is not responsible for any glich or technological issue that may arise with HiBid.
J & J Ventures LLC, its agents or the owners of the property being sold are not responsible for anything that might get broken or damaged during the of loading, handling or shipping of your items even if they are helping load them or shipping them after they are sold . All risk of damage to items is assumed by the buyer once the auction has ended. If items are broken the customer is still responsible for paying for them and no refunds or returns will be given for any reason.

MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS ON YOUR HIBID ACCOUNT IS CORRECT AS THAT IS THE ADDRESS USED FOR SHIPPING UNLESS YOU REQUEST DIFFERENT.
YOU MUST CONTANT THE SHIPPER WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THIS EMAIL WITH PAYMENT IN FULL OR YOU FORFEIT RIGHT TO THE PURCHASE AS SPACE IS LIMITED AND DETERMINED BY THE SHIPPER. THE ITEMS MAY BE DISCARDED OR RESOLD AS YOUR FAILURE TO PAY.
