Auction Terms & Conditions
FEES:
15% Buyers Premium plus HST.
PAYMENT:
If you are the successful bidder we will assume you are paying by credit card and we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the total invoice. We run credit cards after each auction and you will be emailed a copy of your receipt the next day. If you want to pay by e-transfer, debit, cash, etc. you MUST write this in the "notes to auctioneer" prior to registering for each auction.
Emails are automatically sent, if you did not recieve it, it may be in your spam folder or blocked all together by your email provider. If you do not receive this email or the email the following morning regarding payment, it is your responsibility to contact us at Grab-A-Deal@outlook.com.
E-transfers are to be sent to Grab-A-Deal@outlook.com. We have auto deposit. Once the e-transfer is received we will send you a paid receipt.
BIDDERS ARE REPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THEIR PURCHASES AND MAKING PAYMENT THE DAY AFTER THE AUCTION. IF A BIDDER DOES NOT PAY FOR THEIR ITEMS THEY BID ON, THE BIDDER WILL BE BLOCKED FROM BIDDING IN THE FUTURE.
We do not accept alternate forms of payment over the phone.
PICK UP:
78 Palmer Road, Hamilton - Curbside pick-up will be Thursday & Friday from 11:00am to 4:00 following the auction closing. Items MUST be picked up during the 2 days specified. Any items not picked up during the specified pick-up dates and times will be considered abandoned and no refund will be granted. Inspect all items prior to leaving the premises, make sure you have ALL items. Items can not be picked up until the invoice is paid. All items must be removed by the specified removal time. Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. Do not bid if you are unable to have your items picked up. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item.
PERSONAL & PROPERTY RISKS:
We will not be liable for damage or injury to individuals or their property.
WE CANNOT HELP LOAD YOUR VEHICLE, PLEASE BRING EXTRA PEOPLE WITH YOU IF YOU NEED HELP LOADING YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR ITEMS BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
PARKING
The street parking and driveway at Grab-A-Deal Auction used during pickup or drop off is at the sole risk of the user. Grab-A-Deal cannot be held responsible for property damage or injury arising out of said use.
SHIPPING:
We do not offer shipping at this time.
RETURNS:
We do our best to describe products, however, the Purchaser agrees and accepts that all product is sold in "AS IS - WHERE IS" condition and ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Open Box Items are checked to the best of our abilities, they may be lightly used, small imperfections, etc...It is listed as Open Box for a reason, please bid accordingly. Mistakes do happen therefore, at its discretion, Grab-A-Deal, will approve returns if an item has been listed and described incorrectly. Any Purchaser who is approved to return an item will be provided with a credit towards a future purchase equal to the amount paid for said purchase. Grab-A-Deal does not offer Refunds, Discounts or Exchanges.
FINAL SALE - MEANS FINAL SALE, ITEMS ARE DAMAGED AND BROKEN, ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED FOR A REFUND - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Catalogue Errors & Omissions If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence.

Though all description and commentary are believed to be correct, neither Auctioneer nor Consignor makes any warranties or representations of any kind with respect to the property, and in no event shall be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, condition, etc.
**BY ACCEPTING OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS BIDDERS MUST REGISTER WITH THEIR OWN CREDIT CARD. BIDDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITH OTHER CREDIT CARDS THAT ARE NOT IN THEIR NAME. IF WE DISCOVER THE CREDIT CARD REGISTERED IS IN A DIFFERENT NAME WE WILL BLOCK THE ACCOUNT.

IF OTHERS USE THE ACCOUNT / FAMILY MEMBERS ETC., WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE BIDDER, THE BIDDERS NAME WHO IS ON THE ACCOUNT IS STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THE ITEMS. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD, DO NOT STAY LOGGED IN ON YOUR COMPUTER - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACCOUNT.** .

BID CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED - DO NOT PLACE BIDS ON ITEMS UNLESS YOU INTEND TO BID ON THE ITEMS, WE WILL NOT CANCEL BIDS PLACED FOR ANY REASON.
REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION:
At the time of registration, we collect information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All bidders must be of legal age to bid.
REVIEWING YOUR BIDS:
During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults.
BIDDING NOTIFICATIONS:
You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. Please note that outbid notifications are NOT sent out during the last two hours of the sale.
CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS:

ADDITIONS & DELETIONS:
We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point during the auction.
BUYERS:
The BUYER expressly agrees to indemnify and save Grab-A-Deal, the Seller and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including the negligent acts or omissions of Grab-A-Deal, or anyone acting in his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of auction. All bidders/buyers must be of legal age.
CLAIMS:
No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. Bidders are reminded that all goods are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults.
AUCTION RECORDS:
In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records.
SOFT CLOSE:
Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased.
