Taxes: Buyer must pay to Burgess Auctioneers all applicable taxes, unless buyer has provided Burgess Auctioneers with a tax exemption certification. You must submit a completed copy of your tax-exempt form prior to auction close if you wish to apply for tax-exempt status. Payment must be made day of sale by Paypal or Venmo in US DOLLARS only. You must provide Burgess Auctioneers with a credit card during your registration process. The credit card associated with your account will be automatically charged for the full price of your purchases within 48 hours of the end of the sale. If you are picking up your item and paying cash at that time, you must advise Burgess Auctioneers in advance of the auction so your card will not be charged. A Buyer's Premium of 12% is charged automatically to your final payment amount. Chargebacks are Prohibited: You agree that you will accept all charges placed on the credit card associated with your account. You further agree that you will not charge back any amount that Burgess Auctioneers charges to your credit card. You agree that this provision applies equally to amounts charged in connection with any items you have won and any costs or fees discussed in these Terms and Conditions. Shipping charges are exact cost of shipping plus a $5.00 handling fee. Each package is insured. Shipping is usually handled with USPS or UPS. It is up to the bidder to verify and confirm any name and address on each invoice associated with this account for shipping purposes. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Burgess Auctioneers and representatives from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, legal fees, costs, and expenses related to or arising from or associated with you or your representatives including, but not limited to property damage or personal injury caused at any site for pickup of these items, or any violation of these Terms and Conditions. Once shipping costs are determined, a second charge will appear on your credit card for shipment of your item. All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults.
