This is the building where my father stored the bulk of his collection. Mostly St. Thomas and Elgin County related but then he had the "Bug" and collected a little bit of everything interesting to him. Collections have been packed away in this old Town Hall since 1975! Although we have taken much away to be sold in future auction sales, items in this sale are the bric-a-brac, bigger items, basically all the stuff not easy to move to our location at 777 Talbot Street. Don started Cosens Auctions in 1969 in this very building! Don’s many endevours included Local Historian, Author, 33rd Degree Mason and Collector. He started in the auction business 50 years ago. In that time he had purchased thousands of items from the various local estates that he has dealt with over the years. This is an extensive collection being sold over many auctions.
