A 6% PA sales tax will be applied to all purchases made except to persons with a current Dealer’s Sales Tax Exemption Number on file with the auction. Absentee bids are accepted with a 25% deposit by money order, certified check or credit card when requested for certain speciality items. This will be a non-refundable deposit even if the absentee bidder withdraws his or her bid. The auctioneer may reject any bid which, in his estimation he considers less than the value of the item. Phone bidding is available to approved buyers, however arrangements must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the sale. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check has cleared the bank, if the auctioneer believes it is necessary to protect his interests.
