Welcome to K.D. Smith Son Auctions. We have been conducting monthly live silent bid auctions at our auction facility for the past 25 years. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic our average auction consisted of 6000+ lots with 400-600 people attending the final day of bidding each month. Understanding that the pandemic has changed the manner in which people will be allowed to congregate and the requirement for social distancing, in February we began converting our bidding process to remote bidding and eventually plan on converting bidding to most, if not all, lots to the HiBid on-line platform. We will continue to display all lots for preview and inspection at our auction gallery at 1901 So. 12th Street, Allentown PA 18103. Our hours of operation: Friday 10-7, Saturday 10-5 & Sunday 10-4. All lots offered are described and/or graded by the consignor and K.D. Smith Auctions offers no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied. All items are sold where-is, as-is. All merchandise is on display for inspection and it is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect the merchandise as we have a no return policy. All lots will be on display and available for inspection at our auction gallery starting on Friday December 3rd. Hours of operation Fridays 10-7 (use rear entrance, door A3 prior to 12 noon), Saturdays 10-5 and Sundays 10-4.

All merchandise is on display for inspection and it is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect the merchandise as we have a no return policy. To insure authenticity of your purchase of US coins, autographed items and sports cards you may choose to have them sent out for authentication under the following terms: 1. Successful bidder pays for item. 2. Item never leaves custody of K.D.Smith Auctions prior to its submission for authentication to ANACS, SGC or PSA If coin is determined to be not authentic or altered by ANACS or the autograph or sports card is determined to be not authentic by SGC or PSA the successful bidder will be refunded the complete purchase price excluding authentication service. If items is deemed authentic successful bidder pays all fees. Payment: 15% buyers premium, 3% fee for credit card, 6% state sales tax for PA residents unless provided with current state sales tax exemption certificate. K. D. Smith Auctions accepts Visa/MC/Discover, Certified Funds, Money Order, Cash & Paypal. (due to recent fraud & attemps at fraud we will no longer accept Paypal & Credit Cards for purchases of Gold Coins & Gold Jewelry, in addition to accepting cash & certified funds for these items we will accept accept company or personal checks as an alternative and will ship purchases after check clears) Payment must be received by K.D. You have 2 weeks to pay for and pick up your purchases. Pick up is by appointment only. You may call or stop in to set up an appointment. Our normal store hours are Friday 12-9, Saturday 10-7 and Sunday 10-5. If shipping is required and the item or items your are interested in are larger than what would fit a USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail box call (610-797-1770) to insure shipping availability prior to bidding. Buyer pays all related shipping cost and insurance.(K.D. Smith Auctions Son normally ships USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail and UPS unless otherwise instructed by the buyer). The handling fee is determined by the size of your purchase and packaging material required to ship your item or items. Our normal handling fee for USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail is $5.00 per box. If a purchased firearm requires shipping to a licensed FFL dealer add $25.00.
