Lead 1933 Franklin Airman 16B Reserve Auction
Description
1933 Franklin Airman 16B 50,187 miles. Inline 6 cylinder air cooled engine rebuild. Engine block #157535. A true work of love from 1979-2002. Rebuilt from family members who have all passed. All glass replaced. 19 inch rims with 650R19 Tires in excellent shape. Believe it has the original drive train. Electric fuel pump. Speedometer, Clock, and Oil/Amp gauges in dash do not work. Odometer works. Original parts except 2 door handles, windshield frame, and grill, which were made by master craftsman Ernie Gerdes. Other family members who took part in this endeavor were Art Gerdes, Fred Luedtke, Dick Gerdes, Scott Gerdes, and Eric Gerdes. Seller possess the original 1933 title, and subsequent titles issued for this car to date. Engine # matches. Runs like a top and parade ready!!! Sold with reserve. Motivated seller. Located in Benson, Illinois.
