Donk is a 15-month-old entire male Border Collie. We bred him and own his parents and grandparents. He is used on a daily basis mustering cows & calves and dry cattle in timbered paddocks and has done plenty of big days. Donk will work on his own or in a team, is basically silent, will have a bite and is essentially a very handy, honest, young paddock dog. He will naturally run to the lead, block, bite and look to bring the stock to you. Donk will follow a horse, buggy or bike all day, gets along well with all our other dogs and is a sensible dog to have around, we carry a whip everyday and he is in no way whip shy. Donk is unregistered but is a grandson of "Carbeen Winx" and carries Brutonvale & Gibberagee bloodlines as well as going back to Mark McCormack’s “Snap". He is a leggy, good travelling dog who has basic commands, good recall, good with our kids and other animals and will be a great addition to any operation. There is no reason we could not keep him and keep using him, but we have two litters on the way and need to make some room. Absolutely any enquiry or inspection welcome.

Important Information for all Buyers - Triangle Horse Sale make no warranty or guarantee to the information provided by the vendor. We strongly recommend you conduct your own due diligence and welcome and encourage physical inspections and vet checks. Triangle Horse sale acts as an agent only between the vendor and buyer and as such can give no advice as to the suitability or compatibility of the Dogs on offer to you as a prospective buyer. Not all Dogs will suit all Handlers and we encourage you to ask questions via email at auctions@trianglehorsesale.com, your questions are then forwarded directly to the vendor and in turn we provide you with the vendors reply email. If you have any doubts or hesitation to the suitability of the Dog for your needs, we strongly suggest you don't bid on that lot and find a lot more suitable to your individual needs. Dogs will react differently in a new environment, and it is important you make the transition to their new home as comfortable as possible. The initial and gradual introduction to their new home, other dogs and people needs to be carefully considered and conducted in a manner conducive to the wellbeing of all involved.
