Some of these pieces have certificates of authenticity and others do not. Art listed as original are determined to be so through house research. That being said, our auction company does not have a certified art appraiser on staff so please note these pieces are not guaranteed as originals so bidder beware. We have over 100 paintings and drawings done in the manner of famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Matisse, Monet, Picasso, Salvador Dali, and many others. These reproductions provide you the opportunity to own an original work of art that was originally painted or drawn by a famous artist that would be out of the average bidders price range. Also, many of the original works are hanging in prestigious museums and are unavailable to the public. The pieces in this sale marked "After" or "In the manner of" are original paintings and drawings done by hand by unknown artists. These are not prints. This auction is also comprised of many beautiful examples of three dimensional art and statuary. We have included a selection of fine bronzes, and works done in clay, porcelain, glass, crystal, wood, and more. We have multiple bronze originals by Carl Kauba, works after Frederic Remington and August Rodin, Antoine Louis Barye, and more. Welcome to Austin York's early Summer Sale Session 2. We are pleased to bring you a varied and interesting sale. To begin with, we are offering a large single collector grouping of Native American and Inuit related carvings and sculpture. We are also offering a collection of dinosaur and related fossils, minerals, and related materials. Along with these unusual and interesting objects and works we will be offering a large selection of fine art, antique frames, including many carved and gilt works, as well as mid-century and modern design, furniture, and some general estate related items. Willow Auction House's Spring Curated Auction includes more than 100 lots of artwork, porcelain, pottery, and more. The sale features a selection of artwork, including paintings by Aldro Thompson Hibbard, Hattie Brunner and Chauncey Ryder, as well several studies by Konstantin Makoysky and a collection of illustration art including a pen & ink drawing by Rose O'Neill and a Gertrude Kay gouache.
