1. All items are sold "as is", where New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale (NHMRS) nor the auctioneer assume liability for any guarantee made by the seller. By placing a bid, the bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them.
2. The auctioneer shall have the right to accept or reject any bid. In all cases the auctioneer's decision shall be final.
3. NHMRS reserves the right to cancel and/or reopen the webcast portion of the auction in the case of system failures.
4. The auction is held in Canadian funds (CAD).
5. All purchases at this charity auction are tax exempt.
6. A 5% buyer's premium applies to all online purchases.
7. The purchaser assumes responsibility for items when sold, or upon delivery to purchaser.
8. Full payment of all items is required prior to release of goods.
9. Onsite payment can be made by Mastercard, Visa, debit card, cash, or cheque (with identification).
10. Online purchases will be charged to the credit card which was provided at the time of registration. This charge will occur on the day of the auction after the auciton has ended.
11. Purchased items can be picked up at the auction location in New Hamburg, ON, on May 24 and May 25 until 3:00 p.m. After this date purchased items will be held at the offices of MCC, 203-50 Kent Avenue, Kitchener, ON for pick up. Government issued ID is required to pick up purchases.
12. Purchasers who do not pick up their purchases will be contacted within three business days to determine their preferred shipping method. Shipping costs will be determined at the point of shipping and charged to their credit card in a separate transaction. 13. Costs for shipping, insurance, customs, or duty are the exclusive responsibility of the purchaser. The purchaser will be solely responsible for any loss or damage not covered by insurance.
